Student Wellbeing Team
The Wellbeing team is here to help you access the right support if you experience issues or challenges that have an impact on your wellbeing or your studies. We offer support and advice for a range of wellbeing concerns or difficulties. When appropriate, we signpost to other services, both within and external to the University of Glasgow, and help you decide what service or services you need to access.
We offer a welcoming, non-judgemental and private space for you to discuss your situation with one of our team. We work collaboratively with other student services and with your School, to make sure that you receive coordinated support.

Wellbeing Officers
Our Wellbeing Officers can help you manage issues affecting your studies, particularly where your personal and wellbeing challenges are impacting your ability to engage with your course. They can help you prioritise issues and identify practical steps you can take to help you on your university journey. Our team can provide ongoing support as well as help you connect with relevant teams in academic departments and support services within and external to the University.
Student Success Assistants
Need some help but not sure where to go? Our Student Success Assistants can help you with academic and personal matters. You can talk through your issues and our team will help you navigate University processes and procedures, and signpost you to the right team or support service within the University.
Extenuating Circumstances Team
Book an appointment with our EC team if you are having difficulty using the Extenuating Circumstances platform, you have general questions about the process or need advice on the evidence required for your claim. If you have questions about the outcome of your claim, you should contact your School directly.
