Glasgow Science Festival 2022

Glasgow Science Festival made a splash from Thurs 2nd to Sun 12th June, with our theme of ‘Glasgow’s Making Waves’. Bringing 63 events to amazing venues across the city including the Glasgow Botanic Gardens, the Riverside Museum and the St Enoch Centre. During our 16th annual festival, people enjoyed wave-themed activities and events, including gravitational wave astronomy, artist-led soundwalks, and Betty the e-waste basking shark. We have kept our popular 'Science on the Sofa' digital programme, so folks from across the world could join us online from the 2nd June to 30th June.

Here are some of the highlights from our festival report. Below, meet some of the wonderful people who created and delivered content for GSF22.

With thanks to our headline sponsors University of Glasgow and the Scottish Government.
