The University of Glasgow Gender and Sexualities Interdisciplinary Network warmly invites you to its November 2025 Feminist Café on November 27, 1-2:30pm. We will be welcoming Antonio Iván Sánchez Hervás, doctoral candidate in Economic and Social History and member of GLINTS - Glasgow Lab for Intersex, Non-binary and Trans Studies. Antonio will present on ‘The ‘Social Emergency’ of Sex. Medicalisation, Trans Panic, and the Narrative of Transition’.
Please join us for the talk on Thursday 27th November, 1-2.30pm in Room 207 at 10 Professor´s Square (School of Law). Lunch will be provided and no registration is required.
For those of you new to the GSIN, Feminist Cafés are termly run events to meet colleagues and PGR students across and beyond the University of Glasgow working on the areas of gender and sexuality.
