Over the course of the Being Human festival, we have been gathering public responses to the question of what being Scottish/New Scottish means today, and how this may be best expressed in a poetic national constitution.

Join us to mark St Andrew’s Day with the premiere of a play inspired and informed by these public responses. The performance will be followed by a discussion with the creative team, including the playwright Effie Samara, offering a space to continue the conversation.

This event is presented by the College of Arts at the University of Glasgow as part of the Being Human festival, the UK’s only national festival of the humanities, taking place 12–22 November. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
