Observing Russian Elections, 2007-2008

A Carnegie grant has enabled Stephen White to observe the Russian Duma election of 3 December 2007, and will enable him also to observe the presidential election on 2 March 2008. It is expected that these first-hand impressions, together with the local sources it will be possible to collect, will contribute to a number of publications including a commissioned paper for Electoral Studies on the Duma election.
