TEST & PROTECT

The Scottish Government's Test & Protect contact tracing app has been designed to help suppress the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Please also find the Risk Assessment Summary form, which should be placed in a prominent position just inside the relevant lab entrance; this should be done for each and every lab space (research and teaching).

Social Distance

Please be sensitive to colleagues who may wish to retain social distancing and or face coverings.

Cleaning

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer regularly (supplies will be available in labs and offices)

Face covering

There is no requirement to wear a face covering in the Kelvin Building, but you are encouraged to do so in crowded communal areas. This is particularly relevant in undergraduate laboratories.

Ventilation

Ensure your office is well ventilated

  • Keep 1m distance from others in the Kelvin Building at all times
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer regularly (supplies will be available in labs and offices)
  • Masks should be worn at all times in the Kelvin Building except where alone in a designated office
  • Ensure your office is well ventilated
  • Clean work areas before and after work
