How stable is my protein?

Circular Dichroism (CD) can be used to determine the thermal denaturation profile of a protein. A sample is heated from 10-80 degrees and scanned at increments of 10oC to study the unfolding and refolding as the protein is heated and cooled down again.

Differential Scanning Fluorescence can be used to screen a range of buffer conditions to find the optimal conditions for protein stability. Up to 96 samples can be tested simultaneously to give the melting temperature of the protein sample.
