MSc, PhD and MD by research
Human Nutrition provides research training in a wide range of areas of PhD, MD and MSc. Research projects are often jointly supervised with other University Departments.
MSc by Research
The department is active in a wide number of areas of nutrition research and can offer 12 month research projects suitable for submission as MSc theses. Interested applicants should refer to the research pages of this website. This provides an indication of the areas of research currently being carried out.

PhD by Research
The Department offers a 3 year full time research programme leading to the degree of PhD. A part time PhD by research option is also available. There are currently 23 PhD students engaged in research in Human Nutrition.

MD by Research
Medical graduates may undertake an MD by arrangement with Human Nutrition. There is a wide range of opportunity for specialist investigation into nutritional issues. Interested applicants should contact Human Nutrition.
