Individual courses

We currently offer courses from our online distance learning MSc in Data Analytics programme as individual CPD. Our courses are designed for part-time study and therefore you will have the freedom to work at your own pace and access to a wide range of learning tools including rich interactive reading material and tutor-led videos. The Statistics Group at the University of Glasgow is internationally renowned for its research excellence. Students are able to benefit from this by learning from academics whose expertise covers the analysis of data from a wide range of applications.

You can choose to take individual courses for credit or not for credit. For information on the courses we have on offer and course eligibility, please see our course information.

If you have any questions about any individual courses or the application process please contact maths-stats-analyticscpd@glasgow.ac.uk.

Entry requirements

Each course description lists prerequisite knowledge which you need to have in order to benefit from the course. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have this knowledge. We will not check whether you have this knowledge and our decision to admit you to a course does not imply that we deem your prior knowledge to be sufficient to benefit from the course.

Application process

In order to register for a CPD course, you need to select the ‘Book Now’ option next to your course name. Please note that there are deadlines for registration for each course. Once you have completed the registration form, you will receive an email with information on how to secure you place on the course.
