Description
The Centre for Mathematics Applied to the Life Sciences (CMALS) is organising the "New trends in Mathematics and Life Sciences" workshop on September 15th and 16th 2025, partially supported by the Glasgow Mathematical Journal Trust:
The workshop will take place in room 116 of the Mathematics and Statistics Building, School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Glasgow.
The primary aim of the event are to stimulate new collaborations and discussions concerning Mathematics Applied to life sciences.
The workshop will feature a confirmed line-up of invited speakers, round tables, Networking lunches & coffee breaks.

Registration
Registration is free, but places are limited. We kindly require those interested in attending to register (for catering and room booking purposes) as soon as possible by contacting the CMALS Director at
Raimondo.Penta@glasgow.ac.uk as soon as possible to reserve your place.
When you ask to be registered, please indicate whether you would like to:
(a) [Only available to ECRs, defined as PhD students and Post docs] present a poster (in this case we would ask you to prepare a 3 minutes talk consisting of one slide to present its topic, and you'll then have a chance to present your poster during the poster session and the networking breaks).
(b) [Available to everyone] give a one slide 3-minutes presentation concerning your research, to foster networking and collaboration during breaks and round tables.
(c) [Available to everyone] just attend the workshop.
In order to facilitate scheduling and organisation of the event, the deadline for registration is Monday 1st of September 2025.
