Institute researchers recently made presentations for more than 50 Glasgow Biology teachers to support the delivery of Immunology as part of the high school curriculum
On Tuesday 22 October, researchers from the Institute of Infection, Immunity & Inflammation contributed to a Twilight Immunology session held in partnership with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
Supporting the delivery of immunology of as part of the Nat5, Higher, and Advanced Higher curricula, iii scientists presented case studies and interesting anecdotes to assembled high school biology teachers at the Kelvin Hall Lecture Theatre.
The materials used at the event are free to be utilised in the teaching of the course and will be available to educators via the SQA website.
