Clinical Neuropsychology Group
Our group conducts clinical neuropsychology research developing and evaluating approaches to neuropsychological assessment and neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Our assessment research focuses particularly on the cognitive domains of attention, memory, and executive functioning, as well as cross-cultural assessment.
Our rehabilitation-focused work typically involves the development and evaluation of cognitive and psychological interventions that form part of neuropsychological rehabilitation programmes, and a particular focus is on the use of technology in rehabilitation e.g. with our collaborators at neumind.
We also run the longest-established postgraduate training programme in Clinical Neuropsychology, established in 2003.
We primarily provide training for UK-registered practitioner psychologists and completion of the MSc Clinical Neuropsychology: Knowledge & Practice degree confers eligibility to the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists. The course is also available as an MSc in Applied Neuropsychology for international clinical psychologists, and as a suite of CPD short courses for members of other health professions.
