SSO Meditation and Mindfulness sessions

SSO meditation and mindfulness

Thank you for attending a mediation and mindfulness session with University of Glasgow Student Support Officers. We hope that you found the session useful.

This session is intended only as an introduction to the concepts of mindfulness and meditation. We know that managing stress or overcoming feeling overwhelmed will probably take more than just attending a one-off session so below we have gathered some resources and information in the form of a student toolkit that is aimed at helping you take the next steps you need to try and live a more balanced life during your studies.

If you have any further questions or want to find out more about your local Student Support Officer and how they can help, please find contact information below.

Student Support Officers

Our dedicated team of Student Support Officers (SSO's) are here to help students to be successful learners, by providing confidential, first line support to all students at any level of study.

Each School and College has a dedicated Student Support Officer who work to assist and support students during their studies. SSO’s can help signposting students to sources of information, advice and guidance in relation to their studies, their wellbeing and their future lives and careers.

The team encourages and helps to support students in resolving their issues and difficulties in a holistic way, working in partnership with colleagues across wider student services and academic staff.
