The Rise and Shine Festival 2026 returned to the Scottish Crannog Centre on 15–16 August, celebrating its fifth year of collaboration between the Centre and the UNESCO RIELA team. The event brought together artists, craftspeople, musicians, and community organisers from Scotland and around the world to explore themes of climate justice, refugee integration, and sustainable traditions.
Workshops, performances, and hands‑on activities invited visitors to connect through creativity, shared stories, and cultural expression. The snapshot video captures moments from the weekend, including short reflections from contributors across the programme.
