Professor Philip Schlesinger was a keynote speaker at the ICA 2022 pre-conference on Platform Governance on 25 May, an all-day global marathon of presentations. Drawing on his current research with CREATe colleagues in the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre’s programme of work, he analysed the institutional manoeuvres under way as a post-Brexit UK develops its platform-regulatory capacity. His analysis was framed in the wider context of geo-politics, not least the UK’s changing relationship with the European Union.
