Dr Mabel Torbor

Biography
Mabel joined the Adam Smith Business School as a Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour in January 2023. She received her PhD in Management Studies at Brunel University London in 2023 and holds a master’s degree in accounting and management from same university.
Mabel’s current research employs an intersectional framework to explore the experiential facets of women in non-traditional careers. In a broader context, Mabel’s research interests lie within the domains of career studies, gender and diversity in organisations, and the evolving dynamics of work and employment relations. Mabel has published in such journals as International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Research and Journal of Rural Studies.
