CfSS at the UofG / Korn Ferry Sustainability Talent Event (3 Nov 2021)
This UofG and Korn Ferry Panel Discussion and Networking Event asked: "Faced with a dearth of talent in sustainability how do we create the Sustainability Solutioneers we desperately need?"
University of Glasgow and Korn Ferry co-hosted this event focussing on talent management and the sustainability agenda, future industry needs, curriculum development, and graduate attributes. What traits and competencies will industry require going forward, and how can universities help to provide these competencies?

This event brought together a panel of educators and industry representatives and began with a provocation from Jordan Watson, Senior Associate (Korn Ferry).

Our Director Prof Jaime Toney, and Associate Director Prof Gioia Falcone, were pleased to launch the Global Energy Mentorship Scheme at this event focussing on talent in sustainability that is very much needed for the future. The Scheme's 18 Global Energy Mentees from our Earth Futures (School of Geographical and Earth Sciences) and Sustainable Energy (School of Engineering) taught masters programmes were invited to the discussion and subsequent networking event to launch the first cohort in this scheme.
