Work placements

Work placements, internships, and traineeships provide you with the opportunity to expand your skills, network with professionals and make an impact in the field.

Our partner institutions have established relationships with a range of museums, galleries, auction houses, art dealers, and cultural foundations, active in the fields of art and cultural heritage worldwide.

While there will be no internships arranged directly by the Consortium, you will receive information on internship opportunities and guidance on how to apply for them at such organisations as and when they arise.

In particular, the summer of the first year and the period following the submission of the dissertation in the second year of the programme may be times when you would consider undertaking a placement opportunity.

The University of Glasgow Careers Service hosts an internship hub that provides a list of UK-based opportunities.
