Live Event: Future Shape of Transformation

Join Nadia Ness for this hour-long online event and discover more about the future vision of transformation.

Over the summer you were invited to share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences of transformation and change at the University. Those results as well as an intensive round of listening posts and interviews have enriched the strategic conversation and direction of what we do next.

Process Enabled Change Kick-off - 23 October

Following months of planning, the team were excited to host their first project session last week.  This programme of work focuses on the student experience around registration and enrolment and will begin with tactical improvements for Academic Year 24/25. As we head into November the priority is on welcoming a group of dedicated SMEs (subject matter experts) and ensuring they feel supported and enabled as part of the project team.

‌Marc Stevenson, Senior Project Manager said "I’m delighted to be working alongside specialist colleagues from across the University - the collective wealth of knowledge and experience that our SME’s bring is impressive and will be critical as we strive to make positive improvements to the Registration and Enrolment experience for 24/25."

Timetabling AY24/25

Meeting of a group of people facing speaker

Our team hosted a workshop on 20th October to kickstart the development of a new timetabling process for AY24/25. This marked the first step in a multi-year project to maximize estate usage, provide flexibility to academic colleagues, and improve overall staff experience. Colleagues from across our Schools and Estates teams came together to shape the process and we couldn't have done it without everyone's participation. Thank you all!
