  • All of the features planned for this phase of the project have now been developed! We are currently carrying out User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to make sure that any defects or faults are highlighted and resolved before we go live. Thank you to everyone helping us with UAT.
  • We are developing our approach to training and support, and are working through the logistics of the training sessions we’ll be running with the Colleges and University Services. Keep an eye out for updates as to when we’ll be hosting these sessions in your area!

The team have held a number of overview sessions with colleagues from across the University to introduce them to the project and its background, and to make sure we’re promoting the benefits of the new functionality.

We’re designing our training materials in collaboration with students and colleagues from our proof-of-concept groups in SMLC and Law. We’re currently working together on the layout, wording, style, and presentation of our training manuals. The training web content will be finalised over the next 2 weeks.

We are now planning dates for Welcome sessions, Q&A sessions and training events for Schools across the College of Arts. We are also meeting every week with our Social Sciences colleagues to create initial personalised communication plans for roll-out at School level.

An all-staff email will go out next week from Professor Frank Coton and Professor Moira Fischbacher-Smith to set the context and update everyone on the roll-out of the new functionality.
