Celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month, join The Hunterian to explore how the diverse array of colours, shapes and forms rocks can take is truly wonderful, and incredibly queer!
Using examples from The Hunterian’s geological collections, we’ll look at how changing the way we think about nature can help challenge outdated ideas around binaries, heteronormativity and gender conformity.
This event is an opportunity to go behind-the-scenes in The Hunterian collections to see objects that are not currently on public display.
This event is free, but a £5 booking deposit is required to reserve your spot. All deposits will be refunded upon attendance of the session.
If the deposit is a barrier to you attending, please get in touch.
