"Home student" is a broad term that covers a wide range of situations. Typically, home students are defined as University of Glasgow students who live at home and commute to university. We recognise that people decide to commute to university for a range of different reasons and home students come in all different forms. There can be both positives and negatives of commuting to university but we want to support you to make sure you have the most positive university experience possible.
We have put together some information to help you find out more about the opportunities and support available at UofG, as well as some tips from former home students about getting the most out of your time at university.
