Reputation management is a priority focus area for the University

Reputation can influence global rankings, funding, staff and student recruitment, research partnerships, international partnerships, and policy-making. Therefore, reputation management is a priority focus area for the University.UofG Connect 650

A reputation management working group has been established which reports into the SMG Communications and Public Affairs Sub-Group Committee. The working group is delivering a concerted reputation campaign to raise our profile globally as a world-class, world-changing University. As part of the campaign plan, a need for targeted e-communications to priority stakeholder groups has been identified.

The University’s international partners and contacts is one such stakeholder group that requires a regular and consistent way of being informed about our continued commitment to international partnerships and our areas of world-changing research and teaching. To that end, External Relations has launched the e-newsletter University of Glasgow Connect to reach out to international partners.

Rachel Sandison, Vice-Principal, External Relations says: “connecting with our partners to ensure that opportunities to collaborate, and maintain and develop relationships, has never been more important. I’m delighted that our new e-newsletter provides a platform for sharing our world-changing Glasgow stories and highlighting the work we undertake with partners across the globe.”

How you can support our campaign

If you are working with international partners, please support this element of the reputation campaign by sharing the first edition of the e-newsletter and encouraging your international contacts to subscribe: glasgow.ac.uk/explore/internationalisation/uofgconnect
