Evidence for Enhancement – Improving the Student Experience

The SRC has been working with University staff to put together two new information resources – one for Class Representatives, and one for staff who deal with the Class Representative System as part of their role. Development of these resources has contributed to the current Enhancement Theme work on “Evidence for Enhancement – Improving the Student Experience”.

The toolkits aim to gather useful information and guidance in one place, including:

  • Key Dates and Contacts
  • For staff – tips on running elections, information about the SRC structure, and good practice examples gathered from around the University.
  • For students – guidance on different aspects of the class rep role, including gathering student opinion, how to raise issues, and the Staff-Student Liaison Committee.
  • Relevant University policies.

The toolkits are linked via the My Class Reps homepage, or you can access each one directly: Staff Toolkit, Student Toolkit.

The SRC is keen to hear feedback on these new resources, and making improvements for future years. If you have any suggestions for other helpful content, please contact contact Liam Brady, VP Education, or representation@src.gla.ac.uk.
