Demonstrating the impact your research makes in the ‘real world’ is an increasingly important aspect of your academic career, recognised and rewarded by funders, the University, and the REF.

This summer is the ideal time to focus on your research impact with expert training and support on offer:

Take the course: the highly-praised University of Glasgow MOOC on Research Impact will have a second run on 20th May 2019. Sign up here: https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/research-impact and join the global cohort. The course takes place online at your own pace and is ideal for anyone who wants an authoritative introduction to the topic with a chance to reflect on your own research impact with practical advice and outcomes. Join our impact community and get local support: we are running three Research Impact Café sessions open to University of Glasgow staff across all Colleges. This is a chance to meet the developers of the MOOC and get further support in building and shaping your impact with coffee and cake provided. Book your place now:
