What is feedback?

Feedback is information you can use to consider your current performance, or your performance in your last piece of work, and should support you to make decisions about how you can improve on the next piece of work you submit. In this respect. ‘feedback’ should also be forward-looking and as such is sometimes referred to as feedforward.

Key points

  • Feedback should help you understand how well you did in your last piece of work.
  • Feedback should also feedforward – it should support you to decide how to improve for the next piece of work.
