Reopening our venues
The Hunterian Museum and Hunterian Art Gallery* are now open. We have new temporary opening hours of 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sundays.
Entry is FREE but, for your safety, we have introduced online timed ticketing which allows us to manage numbers and maintain physical distancing. Tickets are available now via our Tickets page. If you have any difficulty with the online booking, you can request a booking by telephone on 0141 330 4221.
A range of safety measures have been put in place in line with Scottish Government guidelines. As well as pre-booked timed entry, we have introduced hand sanitising stations, screens at our welcome desks, enhanced cleaning and one way routes to help with physical distancing. We would ask all our visitors to wear a face covering to minimise any risk.
*The Mackintosh House remains closed for now because of physical distancing guidelines. The Hunterian Zoology Museum and Anatomy Museum also remain closed. We’re sorry about that but will keep you updated and will provide reopening dates as soon as possible.
Updates will be added to our website and posted on our social media channels.
