The Hunterian Museum, Hunterian Art Gallery and the Mackintosh House are now open from 10am–5pm Tue–Sun (closed Mon).
Admission to the Mackintosh House is £8/£6 concession. Tickets are available from reception in the Hunterian Art Gallery on the day of your visit and are issued on a first come, first served basis. Unfortunately we are unable to take advance bookings at present but our new booking system will be available soon. Last entry 4.15pm. Find out more.
Visitors should be aware that we are required to collect minimal contact details to support NHS Scotland’s Test and Protect service.

MAP AND TRANSPORT INFORMATION
The Hunterian is part of the University of Glasgow. Our Museums, Art Gallery and The Mackintosh House are located on the Gilmorehill campus, 3km west of Glasgow city centre.
4 and 4A from the city centre to University Avenue
The University is signposted locally. Limited pay-and-display parking on University Avenue and adjoining streets on weekdays. Free parking on campus at weekends - enter main University campus via University Avenue.
The Hunterian Collections Study Centre and Kelvin Hall Showcase display are located at Kelvin Hall, a 9 minute walk from the Gilmorehill campus.

The Hunterian in the South
The Hunterian in the South is located in the Rutherford/McCowan building on the University of Glasgow Dumfries Campus, approximately 2 hours South of Glasgow and less than an hour from Carlisle.
