The Mackintosh House Film
This short film has been made as part of a Museums Galleries Scotland-funded project to create a new interpretation space which will introduce our visitors to the Mackintosh House. The project is currently paused due to the Covid-19 pandemic so we have made the film available now.
The Mackintosh House
Discover the story of the Mackintosh House, the Glasgow home of Scottish architect, artist and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh and artist Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh. The House forms an integral part of the Hunterian Art Gallery and is a meticulous reassemblage of the principal interiors from 78 Southpark Avenue (originally 6 Florentine Terrace), where the Mackintoshes lived from 1906 to 1914.
