I am passionate about sustainability and being able to work with the Multiplex sustainability team on my dissertation was an enjoyable part of my last year.

I am passionate about sustainability and being able to work with the Multiplex sustainability team on my dissertation was an enjoyable part of my last year. I learned about what are the key tasks of sustainability managers as well as about bottlenecks of supply chains in the construction industry. The experience helped me to understand how the business and collaboration among members of supply chains run in practice. Moreover, I got to talk to the sustainability team members about careers in sustainability and they gave me valuable advice. I recommend undertaking collaborative dissertation to anyone who wants to learn more about real practice and make new connections.

The chance to work with some of the best and brightest minds as they develop into future leaders was a great opportunity for us. Being the University’s Project Delivery Partner, the work of the student will help ensure that a collaborative approach to sustainability is at the heart of the Gilmorehill campus development programme, benefitting students for decades to come. We are delighted with the outcomes of our participation in the Collaborative Dissertation programme.
