We are happy to announce that the next Gender and Sexualities Interdisciplinary Network meetup will take place 12pm -1.30pm on the 15th of June, Room 207 in Number 10 Professors Square (School of Law). The GSIN meet-ups are designed to provide space and time for GSIN members to socialise, hear and share network news and make links with representatives from invited external organisations.

This month we have the pleasure of hosting Sue John, who will be presenting on behalf of Glasgow Women's Library; the UK's sole accredited museum dedicated to the histories, lives, and accomplishments of women. As a member of GWL's Senior Management Team, Sue is responsible for implementing the organisation's Strategic Plan and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Action Plan. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a PhD in History at the University of Glasgow, with her research focused on 'Satire and Suffragettes: Women's Rights in Everyday Material Culture in Britain, 1900–1930.' We are greatly looking forward to Sue's presentation, during which she will discuss the significant work undertaken by GWL, as well as her own contributions to the organisation.

Lunch will be provided. We hope that you will join us and look forward to seeing you then.
