Our Impact
The Living Laboratory is accelerating the adoption of healthcare innovations into clinical practice to directly benefit patients. By advancing solutions that support earlier diagnosis and more effective, personalised care plans, we aim to improve health outcomes and enable long-term cost savings for the NHS.
To achieve this, our programme is strengthening Glasgow’s healthcare innovation ecosystem. We are supporting new product development, accelerating start-ups and SMEs, and establishing a dedicated Health Innovation Hub with laboratory and office space for growing companies.
By attracting industry, creating high-value jobs, and advancing skills development, the Living Laboratory is driving inclusive and sustainable economic growth across Govan and Glasgow. At our core is a commitment to community and public engagement, ensuring patients and the public help shape the innovations designed to serve them.
