Music in the University collaborates with many subject areas to present the free Thursday lunchtime concert series

Music in the University is located in the College of Arts with artistic planning by Anne Cumberland, the University's Music Development Officer.

Anne collaborates with many subject areas in presenting the free Thursday lunchtime concert series generously supported by the Ferguson Bequest.

This semester opened with Scottish Opera Emerging Artists, followed by the international award-winning Maxwell String Quartet and the University Chapel Choir with a Burns' Day Concert.  The Hermes Experiment gave the premiere of a new work by PG Music composition student, Kevin Leomo, as part of their Scottish tour programme.

Gaelic singer Kim Carnie and her band are on 1 March at 1.10pm in the University Concert Hall as part of the University's Gaelic Language Day 2018.
