The Complete University Guide has placed the University of Glasgow 17th in its UK university league table.

The Complete University Guide has placed the University of Glasgow 17th in its UK university league table.

 

The table also provides information on specific subject areas. Subjects taught in the College of Arts have done exceptionally well this year.

The league table placed;

  • Archaeology, Celtic and Gaelic, Theatre Studies, Film & Television Studies, French and History of Art in the UK's top 10
  • English Literature, English Language, German, History, Hispanic and Music in the UK's top 20
  • Archaeology, Celtic and Gaelic, Theatre Studies, Film and Television Studies, History of Art and Music were ranked number 1 in Scotland.

These tables use raw data from sources in the public domain, analysing information on entry standards, student-staff ratios, spending on academic services, facilities spending, good honours degrees, graduate prospects, completion and overseas student enrolments, to produce it rankings.
