College of Arts comes 2nd in UK for AHRC grant income

With £2.8m in funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the College of Arts won the second largest chunk of responsive-mode grant income across the UK in 2011-12. (Article 13th July 12)

With £2.8m in funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the College of Arts won the second largest chunk of responsive-mode grant income across the UK in 2011-12. First place went to Oxford University with awards totaling £3.1m.

The College of Arts won the largest portion of grant income from the AHRC in Scotland. Second in Scotland was St Andrews University and third was University of Edinburgh.
