ZEUS at Glasgow

ZEUS_logo_v2PPE academics were founder members of ZEUS.  One of us designed the Central Tracking Detector. Latterly we have made strong contributions to the physics analysis, focussing on QCD event shape issues (power corrections and azimuthal asymmetries) as well as high-p_T leptons and inclusive charm. We devised the first effective method for identifying prompt photons in DIS and photoproduction. Following the end of HERA running in June 2007, group efforts are focussed on studying the properties of events containing prompt photons.
