RSE HONORARY FELLOWSHIP
Professor Sir James Hough received the RSE’s highest accolade, Honorary Fellowship, in recognition of his contributions to experimental physics. First elected an Ordinary Fellow in 1991, his Fellowship has been elevated in acknowledgement of his leading role in gravitational research for more than half a century and his sustained commitment to public service in science and education. Honorary Fellows are internationally renowned figures whose impact extends beyond their specialist field, exemplifying the highest levels of achievement.
