Fellowship Opportunities
We aim to attract and retain the very best researchers in the field.
We have previously been successful in supporting a limited number of strong candidates in applying for prestigious Fellowships. There is information from the College of Science and Engineering about the application proceedures. Specific information about various types of Fellowship can be found via the following links:
- Royal Society Fellowships. Also various other grant schemes.
- University Research Fellowships. For UK scientists who are at an early stage of their research career. Open to applications from 11 July 2024.
- Newton International Fellowships. For non-UK scientists who are at an early stage of their research career and wish to conduct research in the UK. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 13 March at 3pm, UK time.
- STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowship. Interested applicants should contact Sheila Rowan with a brief summary of intended Fellowship topic and an up to date CV.
- Other STFC Fellowships.
- Royal Society of Edinburgh Fellowships.
- Horizon Europe.
- EPSRC Fellowships.
