Undergraduate prizes
2022 RCPCH Prize
The 2022 RCPCH Prize was awarded to Year 5 MB ChB student, Salma Khatun, following her successful application for nomination on behalf of the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing.
2022 Yorkhill Portfolio Prize
The 2022 Yorkhill Portfolio Prize of £750 and Yorkhill Medal was awarded to Year 5 MB ChB student, Aoife Carr. The runner-up prize of £250 was awarded to year 5 MB ChB student, Lucy Allison.
2022 Yorkhill Essay Prize
The 2022 Yorkhill Essay Prize of £750 was awarded to Year 1 MB ChB student, Zainab Alani, for her essay entitled, "Perspectives from the periphery of paediatrics"
The runner up prize of £250 was awarded to Year 1 MB ChB student, Jack Hamilton, for his essay entitled, "Effect of longterm childhood illness on the patient and their wider environment"
2022 Hall Prize
The 2022 Hall Prize was awarded to Year 5 MB ChB student, Molly Strafford.
2022 Society for Endocrinology Undergraduate Achievement Award
The 2022 Society for Endocrinology Undergraduate Achievement prize of £200 was awarded to Year 4 MBChB student, Sophie Adams. The runner up prize of £100 was awarded to Year 5 MBChB student, Georgia McKinney.
Postgraduate prizes
2022 Harry Stewart Hutchinson Prize
The 2022 Harry Stewart Hutchinson prize was awarded to Dr Ashwini Chandiramani, for the paper entitled, "The role of abnormal subaortic morphometry as a substrate for left ventricular outflow tract obstruction following atrioventricular septal defect repair" published in the European Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
2022 Yorkhill Postgraduate Research Prize
The 2022 Yorkhill Postgraduate Research prize was awarded to Dr Angela Lucas-Herald, for the paper entitled, "Vascular dysfunction and increased cardiovascular risk in hypospadius" European Heart Journal (2022) 43, 1832 -1845.
