Abstract
As well as the classical sectional, Ricci and scalar curvatures in Riemannian geometry, there are also various `intermediate' curvatures which interpolate in some way between the classical notions. The idea of intermediate curvatures is not new, but interest has grown considerably in recent years. This is especially true for positive intermediate curvatures. In this talk we will focus on positive intermediate Ricci curvatures and discuss some recent developments, including joint work with Philipp Reiser, Catherine Searle and Fred Wilhelm.
