How do I know if my maths is accessible to students?
Lilian Joy (University of York)
Thursday 15th January 15:00-16:00
Maths 311B
Abstract
Are you confident that your handouts and digital materials are usable by all
of your students? What are their needs and how do you check if what you're
producing will work for them?
Join us for this session where Lilian
Joy, University of York, explores a tiered approach to creating universally
accessible digital content with mathematics. She'll break down the practical
needs of students across four distinct levels of accessibility and offer
insights on how to pivot to alternative formats should the need arise.
