Abstract

In the talk I will report on joint work with Guido Arnone and
Devarshi Mukherjee (arXiv:2412.15112) concerning homological invariants
of the Steinberg algebra $A_k(G)$ over a commutative ring $k$ of an
ample groupoid $G$, which we compare with its groupoid homology. In
particular we introduce, for a Hausdorff ample groupoid $G$, Chern
characters $c_{n,i}:K_n(\cA_k(G))\to H_{n+2i}(G)$ for all $i\ge 0$. We
then specialize to Exel-Pardo groupoids and make some computations.
