Abstract

"Originated in the context of quantum field theory, Frobenius manifolds lie at the intersection of several areas of mathematics. Drawing the motivation that lead to their definition, we introduce Frobenius manifolds and other geometric structures progressively generalizing them: F-manifolds, flat F-manifolds and bi-flat F-manifolds. We discuss some semisimplicity assumption, under which most of the theory has been developed, and a milder assumption of regularity, then presenting some results in this more general setting. In particular, we describe the construction of a class of regular non-semisimple bi-flat F-manifolds related to integrable systems of hydrodynamic type, Nijenhuis geometry and the theory of Lauricella functions."
