Abstract

The motivation of this research is the so called “non-commutative embedding problem”, which stems from the classical embedding problem in the topological dynamics, involving several dynamical concepts which have been now widely used in operator algebra theory such as the mean dimension and the small boundary property.

In this talk, I am gonna say something about how we could generalize the concept of the topological Rokhlin dimension of Z^k-action on compact metric space defined by G. Szabor, and consequently how this generalization might shed light on the development of the non-commutative embedding problem.
