On Cartan Subalgebras in Inductive Limits

Abstract
In this talk I will present the main results of my PhD. I will discuss Cartan subalgebras and Renault's characterisation of them in separable C*-algebras, and show how this can be generalized to the non-separable setting. I will introduce the notion
of an inductive limit Cartan subalgebra and discuss the existence and uniqueness of them in the classes of AF, AI, AT and more general AX-algebras.
