Abstract
In this talk I develop the global period map in the context of derived geometry. This generalises Griffiths' classical period map for families of smooth projective varieties as well as the infinitesimal derived period map by Manetti et al. (I will not assume previous knowledge of derived algebraic geometry.) This is joint work with Carmelo Di Natale.
