Abstract

This talk will be about papers by Dywer and Kan written in the mid 80s that were ignored by everyone and the results of which were then one by one rediscovered over time. In particular, the link between Hopf algebras and cyclic homology becomes in view of these results quite natural, and that is what I'll try to explain in this talk together with some technicalities that might justify writing a paper about this.
