Semiprojectivity and fields of C*-algebras

Abstract
The concept of semiprojectivity plays an important role in the study and classification of fields of C*-algebras. While one usually only requires semiprojectivity for the fibres, we ask whether it can happen that the field itself is semiprojective. In this talk we will discuss this question and see how it relates to some open problems about semiprojectivity.
