Abstract

Cluster algebras were introduced by Fomin and Zelevinsky in 2000, and since then appear in various contexts. A large class of cluster algebras can be constructed using triangulated bordered surfaces with marked points. In the talk, I will discuss the construction and combinatorial properties of these algebras, as well as some applications.
