A first attempt at a Bivariant Cuntz Semigroup was made by Wilhelm Winter in 2009. During a workshop in Muenster he presented a stable version of the Bivariant Cuntz Semigroup. In this talk an unstable version will be introduced instead, which coincides with Winter's theory when restricting to stable C*-algebras. The discussion will focus on functoriality, and all the properties that have been discovered so far will be presented. Finally, the attempt at an equivalent description in terms of suitable Hilbert bimodules will be motivated and briefly discussed.
