Analyzing Elastic Wave Propagation in Kidney Stones

A semi-discrete Hermit central-upwind solution to the equations of linear elasticity is used to model the propagation of lithotripsy waves in kidney stones. The veloctiy at each loaction and the corresponding stress tensor are determined. According to different shape of kidney stones, numerical experiments are successfully solved to verify the desired efficiency of analysis.
